Accountant

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial & Accounting Operations Document and manage financial transactions accurately and efficiently Prepare monthly balance sheet uploads and supporting financial documentation Maintain accounting controls and support process improvement initiatives Review and process supplier invoices and generate customer invoices Prepare and process payments, reimbursements, taxes, licenses, and permits Partner directly with external accounting/tax firms on all tax-related matters Maintain current reseller permits and business compliance documentation Set up and maintain supplier records Manage bank accounts and company credit card accounts Submit employee travel and expense reports to corporate finance teams Monitor expenses and support budgeting activities Maintain organized electronic accounting records and shared files General Administration & Operational Support Ensure smooth internal communication and information flow Maintain compliance with company policies and regulations Prepare forms, reports, and operational documents as needed Support special projects and cross-functional initiatives Provide backup support to the Finance Director when necessary Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience Industry experience in oil & gas, lubricants, transportation, or logistics preferred Strong understanding of accounting principles, controls, and financial processes Experience with: SAP (highly preferred) OneStream Power BI / Omni Analytics Advanced Excel skills (Macabacus experience a plus) Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented with strong accuracy and deadline management Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively across departments Spanish language skills are a strong plus What We’re Looking For Hungry to grow professionally Proactive and solutions-oriented Adaptable and team-focused Process-minded with a “can-do” attitude Committed to excellence and continuous improvement Company Values Respect Excellence Innovation #J-18808-Ljbffr
