Service Operations Manager

Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Trades Service Operations Manager, where you will play a crucial role in providing top‑notch technical support to our valued clients. Under the general supervision of the Account Director, you will manage work orders related to general trades, focusing on plumbing, lighting, doors, and electrical repairs. Your mission is to ensure that our services are delivered on time and in accordance with our clients' contractual obligations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Perform administrative support tasks including work order management, scheduling, vendor management, purchase order coordination, and reporting. Provide technical direction and support to our Field Organization and subcontractors, ensuring timely completion of all service requests. Respond to maintenance and repair requests with a focus on plumbing, doors, and electrical issues affecting facilities. Maintain effective communication with employees, management, contractors, and customers, operating 24/7. Assist with invoicing statuses and issues, escalating them as needed. Provide accurate reports on open work orders as required by supervisors. Document all correspondence related to work orders to maintain up‑to‑date and complete records. Attend all required staff meetings and complete necessary safety training. Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 5 years of experience in general contractor trades maintenance and management or a comparable combination of education and experience. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a plus. Advanced proficiency in MS Windows applications, particularly MS Excel and Word; ability to type a minimum of 50 words per minute with strong writing skills. Professional, friendly demeanor with a commitment to exceeding client expectations. Ability to work effectively under pressure and make informed decisions with limited guidance; know when to elevate issues to leadership. Strong communication skills, ensuring efficient collaboration with all team functions. Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills. Courteous and professional demeanor at all times. Uphold a reliable work ethic and punctuality. Willingness to travel up to 25% as required. Plumbing experience is essential. Work Environment This is primarily a desk position with computer access in a well‑maintained office facility.
