Industrial Wastewater Engineer (IWWE)

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Industrial Wastewater Engineer (IWWE) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing wastewater treatment systems to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards. You will conduct analyses of wastewater processes, identify areas for optimization, and develop strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of wastewater management projects.


Key responsibilities include performing site assessments, conducting feasibility studies, and preparing technical reports detailing design specifications and operational guidelines. You will also be tasked with monitoring treatment plant performance, troubleshooting issues, and recommending improvements to enhance treatment efficacy. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will liaise with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure all projects meet compliance requirements and safety standards. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate innovative solutions into wastewater management practices.


The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of three years of experience in industrial wastewater treatment. A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred. Proficiency in relevant software and tools for modeling and analysis is required. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to sustainable practices in wastewater management.
