TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Charleston, West Virginia, 25301!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required. 1+ years of experience in specialty preferred. License: West Virginia or Compact RN License required; pending license accepted. Certifications: BLS required. ACLS required. Must-Have: Candidate must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility. Candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Description: The position is for a Medical/Surgical RN in a unit with a diverse adult patient population. The unit has 37 beds, each capable of monitoring patients with varying degrees of illness. Patients may include post-operative transplant cases and adults requiring cardiac monitoring. The RN will work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with every other weekend required. There are options for 36 or 48 hours per week, depending on the RN's preference. The patient ratio is 1:5. The RN will have access to interdisciplinary support, including IV teams. Expected patient diagnoses include COPD, cardiac issues, chest pain, diabetes, neuro overflow, and post-surgical cases. Special procedures and equipment may include central line draws, chest tube management, CPAP/BiPAP, and various intravenous medications. Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
