Job Description
MICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MICU Registered Nurse to join our team on a night shift basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care nursing and be equipped to handle complex patient cases in a fast-paced environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care to individuals in the MICU.
• Manage and monitor patients with conditions such as sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and heart failure.
• Administer treatments and medications as prescribed by the healthcare team.
• Conduct assessments and maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize advanced patient care technologies, including CRRT, EKOS, IABP, ECMO, and Impella.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with the ability to provide 1:1 care when needed based on patient acuity.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Experience in MICU or critical care nursing is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Schedule

This position offers a night shift schedule of 4x12 hours, from 19:00 to 07:30.
