Summer InternThe Perryman Company is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated summer intern to join our Learning, Development, and Communications team in 2027. Our Learning, Development, and Communications team has the responsibility of effectively communicating policy updates, safety protocols and training, upcoming events, and more to our employees!Key AccountabilitiesAssist the Learning, Development, & Communications (LDC) Specialist with general administrative tasks, departmental projects, and day-to-day operations.Support the creation of internal communications, graphics, and social media posts.Assist with the creation and management of employee training.Contribute to ongoing LDC projects by completing assigned tasks efficiently.Gain exposure to different software systems (e.g., UKG Learning) and company policies through hands-on experience.Perform other duties as assigned.RequirementsCurrently pursuing a degree in Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field.Basic understanding of general communications principles.Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Cloud products (not required).Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.Able to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.Proficient organizational and time management skills.Enthusiastic: Shows intense and eager enjoyment and interestThought Provoking: Capable of making others think deeply on a subjectTeam Player: Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellAbility to Make an Impact: Inspired to perform well by the ability to contribute to the success of a project or the organizationEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
