As the largest amusement park in Pennsylvania, Hersheypark is home to more than 70 rides including 15 coasters and 20+ kiddie rides, as well as a zoo, and an entire water park.A Hersheypark ® Food & Beverage Communications Coordinator maintains clear and concise communication between our team members, improving efficiencies by supporting the F&B department.As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!Job Duties:Serve as the communication liaison for the Food & Beverage department by answering telephone and/or radio calls and dispatching proper Food & Beverage personnel to areas neededUse a computer to enter operational data into electronic databases in a timely and accurate mannerUpdate Hersheypark mobile Application Food & Beverage locations listsEnter and organize departmental training documentationInitiate positive interactions with internal stakeholders across Hershey Entertainment & ResortsPerform other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applyingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Must be detail-oriented and proficient in data entryMust have a strong working knowledge of computers (including general Office Suite and Google Workspace programs)Must have the ability to effectively communicate verbally, including delivering safety instructions/directions, verbal cues, and speaking clearly into microphones and radiosMust be able to multitask and handle a high volume of calls and emails that are time-sensitiveMust have the ability to comprehend instructions (verbal, demonstrated, and/or written) and retain informationMust have the ability to remain alert and vigilant at all timesMust be able to work independently and be self-motivated to perform all aspects of the job at all timesMust be able to multitask while prioritizing job tasks and assignmentsMust display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelinesJob Demands:Must be able to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work at least 16 hours per week Memorial Day through Labor DayPhysical requirements include the ability to sit for up to ten hours at a time, walk, bend at the waist and knees and have repeated manual dexterity, and the ability to push, pull, and reach above shoulder level, and lift up to twenty (20) pounds without assistanceMust be able to work in a combination of indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
