We are seeking an HVAC Tech to service residential and light commercial systems throughout the local service area. This role performs scheduled maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, replacements, installation projects, and emergency service calls. The technician may work independently in the field, under the supervision of a service manager, as part of a service team, or paired with an apprentice, with opportunities to advance into lead technician, service supervisor, estimator, or project coordinator roles.

Responsibilities

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems and equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance visits.
• Diagnose equipment issues and complete HVAC repairs and replacements.
• Handle refrigerants and perform refrigerant recovery procedures.
• Conduct electrical testing and troubleshoot system components.
• Balance airflow and verify system performance.
• Document service activities, findings, and completed work.
• Educate customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Respond to emergency and on-call service needs.
• Follow safety practices and compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• State or local HVAC technician license.
• Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with refrigerant recovery and blueprint reading.
• Familiarity with building automation systems and preventive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving, customer service, and safety practices.
