High-speed SerDes system (200Gbps+) technology development, including electrical and optical interconnect.2. Define Serdes system specifications, find proper architecture with the design team (Analog, Digital, Algorithm), and build models for evaluation when necessary.3. SerDes key technology evaluation and development (e.g., Next Gen SerDes like 400G, optical nonlinearity compensation, CPO technology).4. Issues analysis and finding root cause during SerDes IP verification.Main Requirements and Qualifications1. Experience in developing or using high-speed SerDes PHY systems (at least 100G PAM4) and familiarity with relevant industry standards (either 802.3, OIF, or PCIe) – Must2. A considerable understanding of 802.3 wireline communication algorithms, such as Channel modeling, Adaptive equalizer, CDR, ADC calibration, etc. – Must3. Ability to build behavioral models to analyze SerDes transmission problems – Nice to have4. Knowledge of or experience using 802.3 COM models or other equivalent link budget analysis tools – Nice to haveOptical interconnect related:Nice-to-haves1. Understanding of optical communication technologies (either SR, DR, or WDM), familiarity with Optical PMD specifications. – Must2. Experience with optical modules (development/testing/use) are preferred – Nice to have3. Experience in CPO component development or system buildup – Nice to have4. Experience in Optical Modeling and nonlinear Compensation – Nice to haveLocation: San Jose, California Salary range: $190,000- $270,000. Employee may be eligible for performance bonus, short and long term incentive programs. Actual total compensation will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
