Radiology - Ultrasound / Sonographer

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join our team. This position involves performing a variety of vascular imaging studies, including arterial and venous doppler exams, within a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will bring expertise in general ultrasound and OB, as well as experience with small parts and vascular studies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct general ultrasound and vascular imaging examinations.
• Perform arterial and venous doppler studies on upper and lower extremities.
• Multitask effectively and maintain efficiency in a high-volume setting with an average of 35 scans per day.
• Manage patient interactions and ensure quality care throughout the imaging process.
• Start IVs as necessary for procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiology staff and maintain communication with radiologists.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current WV License and ARDMS certification required.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification via ARDMS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Previous experience in vascular ultrasound is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate efficiently with medical personnel.

Schedule

This is a 12-hour night shift position, scheduled from Friday to Sunday. Candidates should be prepared to participate in weekend and holiday rotations as needed. The shifts may vary between 6 PM to 6 AM, 7 PM to 7 AM, or 8 PM to 8 AM.
