Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Current SLP-CCC certification
  • Eligibility for Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
  • Conduct assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to collaborative educational planning
  • Develop targeted intervention plans and adjust strategies as needed
  • Partner closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement
  • Maintain thorough records of student progress and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Educate and guide families on strategies for reinforcing therapeutic progress at home
