ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I recently celebrated my 35th anniversary with State Farm and have proudly served as an agent in Fairhope since October 2003. My wife, Elizabeth, and I have been married for 30 years, and our two adult sons both grew up in Fairhope and graduated from the Fairhope public school system. Our family have been active members of our church since 2004, and I’m also a longtime member and Past President of The Rotary Club of Fairhope. Giving back to this community has always been important to me.

My agency includes myself and four team members, and together we bring a high level of experience and dedication to the customers we serve. As we continue to grow, I’m always looking for talented individuals to join us. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Rick Phyfer - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
• Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
• Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
• Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
• Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
• Communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

SCHEDULE:

• Monday - Thursday, 8:30am-5pm
• Friday, 8:30am - 3pm
