Unit Overview All Acute Care Adult Specialty units offer enhanced technology to assist with nursing care, including patient lifts, hands-free communication, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring capability. Unit Description Join our Acute Care Adult Medical Telemetry Unit (8 East)! Primary Patient Population Telemetry Acute Medical Primary skills utilized/learned Cardiac Monitoring IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion, wound care Time management, critical thinking, delegating Personnel LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers Number of beds on unit 30 beds Awards or Recognitions the unit has received Multiple Daisy Award Winners!!!! Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation). Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
