Senior Accountant (Hybrid/Remote)

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has an immediate need for a Senior Accountant with a manufacturing partner of ours in the Golden Valley area!

• Pay: $100,000-$115,000/yr
• Hybrid/remote

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee month-end and year-end close , including preparation and review of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts , ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports , identifying variances and trends for management
• Manage accruals, amortization, depreciation, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets
• Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing accurate financial data and analysis
• Assist with external audits , tax filings, and regulatory compliance requirements
• Ensure effective internal controls and improve accounting processes and documentation
• Supervise or mentor staff accountants and AP/AR team members, as needed
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support operational and strategic initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Dynamics, SAP, Oracle)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel
• Prior experience in audit support or public accounting preferred
• CPA or CPA-eligible status a plus
