Hospital BI Developer

Hospital BI Developer Miami Beach, FL May 11, 2026 BI Developer Florida Resident or willing to relocate to Florida required. The BI Developer partners with clinical and business stakeholders to translate reporting needs into accurate, actionable analytics. This role designs, develops, and supports reports and dashboards using Epic reporting tools and enterprise analytics platforms, manages multiple projects, supports upgrades and testing, and contributes to training while delivering excellent customer service in a healthcare environment. Key Skills: Epic Reporting (Clarity, SlicerDicer, Radar, Workbench), SQL, Tableau, relational databases and data warehouses, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, data visualization and dashboards, healthcare analytics, clinical workflows, system upgrades, testing, and stakeholder collaboration. Key Responsibilities Meet with report consumers to understand their reporting needs and translate into meaningful and accurate reports. Provide input into test scripts for new updates/upgrades. Perform upgrades with vendor assistance. Demonstrate ability to manage multiple projects along with day-to-day work. Utilize system knowledge and available resources to address routine issues. Prepare and present substantial portions at meetings. Be highly proficient with SQL or Oracle, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, and relational databases. Review and provide input into development of downtime processes for assigned areas. Review and provide input to training content; assist with training sessions. Demonstrate excellent customer service at all times. Qualifications Florida Resident or willing to relocate to Florida required. Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in healthcare and analytics tools. Epic experience, including Clarity, Radar, SlicerDicer, Workbench, and Epic Cogito preferred. Three years of experience with relational databases, OLAP, or data warehouses in DBMS environments. Three years of experience on Epic Reporting tools. Programming experience required (SQL, SAS, or Java). Experience with data query, visualization, dashboard, and/or scorecard tools (e.g., SAP BOE, Tableau, QlikView, SPSS Modeler, Microsoft Power BI, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Packages, Microsoft SSAS). Strong sense of responsibility, self‑motivation, and self‑management. Curious, quick‑study, strong exploratory analysis skills, and pride in work. Enjoy working with people to find solutions to their questions. Familiar with clinical terminology or workflows. At least 3 years of Epic Reporting tools experience. Education Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (mathematics, computer science, physics, economics, engineering, statistics, operations research, etc.) or equivalent experience. Certifications Epic data analytics tool certifications within 6 months (Cogito Fundamentals, Caboodle Data Models Fundamentals, Clarity Data Models Fundamentals, Radar SQL Metrics, Slicer Dicer, Custom Build, Cogito SQL Badge, Clarity Data Model Caboodle).
