Transportation Project Manager V- HighwaysAECOM is actively seeking a Transportation Project Manager for immediate employment in Ridgeland, MS, New Orleans, LA, or Baton Rouge, LA. The appropriately qualified applicant should be able to demonstrate an established career in Transportation Engineering including roadway. This position will be responsible for managing the planning, designing, and overseeing civil engineering projects, such as highways, bridges, surface drainage, and utilities infrastructure. In this role, the Project Manager will manage small or medium-size projects and serve as a Deputy Project Manager on large projects.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies.Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors.Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project.QualificationsMinimum RequirementsBA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or educationPreferred Qualifications10+ years of previous design and project delivery experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and/or Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for LADOTDProfessional Engineer (PE) Registered in Mississippi or ability to receive10+ years of previous design experience on transportation projects including Schematic Development and Preparation of Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E)LADOTD ATSSA Flagger & Traffic Control Supervisor Certifications and Completions of the Traffic Engineering Process & Reporting (TEPR) Modules 1,2 and 3Experience designing highway/roadway systems, drainage systems, and traffic control plansExperience managing multidisciplinary projects with subconsultantsExperience with design software including MicroStation and Inroads and/or OpenRoadsExperience with Business Development/Client RelationsExperience with LADOTD proposals and interviewsProven experience of success with LADOTD pursuitsExperience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career developmentGood communication skills and ability to manage a teamAdditional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
