The role is hybrid with 1 day per week onsite at the Washington Navy Yard. Residence in the DMV is required as the onsite requirement may fluctuate to meet the client's needs.What You'll Do:Provide comprehensive acquisition support including drafting DoD pre-award documents for NAVSEA.Responsibilities:Draft pre-award acquisition documents to include Acquisition Plans, Acquisition Strategies, Statements of Work, Justification and Accreditations and full RFP packages.Prepare ISTRAP, MSTRAP and PSTRAP documentsAct as support to junior team membersAttend meetings and provide onsite/in-person support as requiredTravel domestically and internationally, provide in-person support at MBC and client sites, and obtain and maintain professional certifications and security clearances as required by MBC and/or MBC's clients. These requirements are subject to change without advance notice at the discretion of MBC and MBC's clientsQualifications:Active DOD Secret security clearance required5-8 years' experience planning, documenting and executing DoD milestone decisionsDemonstrated experience drafting pre-award documents including those mentioned aboveFamiliarity with DoD 5000 and multiple acquisition pathwaysPrior US Navy acquisition and contracts experienceAbility and interest in mentoring team membersProficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePointExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsAbility and willingness to travel domestically and internationally using a credit card or prepaid debit card as required by MBC and/or clientsCompensation Policy:Salary ranges displayed are typical for this position, but MBC considers multiple factors when extending an offer.
