Your Key Responsibilities
- Utilize radiographic and CT methodologies to generate accurate diagnostic images for physician assessment
- Collaborate closely with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams to guarantee precise and timely diagnoses
- Ensure optimal imaging by properly positioning patients and adjusting equipment settings
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect both patients and staff
- Keep detailed records that include imaging logs and equipment service documentation
- Deliver compassionate care throughout the imaging journey for each patient
- Enhance a safe, efficient, and well-organized imaging environment
- Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology is required; a Bachelor's Degree is advantageous
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
- ARRT certification in CT and/or Radiography required
- Current BLS certification or ability to procure it within 90 days of hire
- Strong knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and safety standards
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and team members
- A capacity to thrive in fast-paced settings while adapting to rapidly changing needs
- Detail-oriented approach with a strong sense of accountability
- Technological proficiency with PACS, RIS, and contemporary imaging software
