Location: On‑site (train in Georgetown, production in Taylor, TX) Type: Full‑Time | 8a‑5p M‑F | starting at $22/hr What You'll Do Dive deep into returned or defective servers, boards, and subassemblies to analyze failure points Use root cause analysis tools like 5 Whys and Fishbone, along with advanced fault isolation techniques Work hands‑on with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and software diagnostics to troubleshoot hardware and system‑level issues Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to drive meaningful corrective and preventive actions Support continuous improvement initiatives by tracking failure trends and identifying yield improvement opportunities Document your findings clearly in reports and internal systems - your insights will help shape better products for the future! Who You Are You have an associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) You bring 1‑3 years of experience in failure analysis, electronics repair, or manufacturing test environments You can decipher schematics and technical documentation with ease You have hands‑on knowledge of server hardware, PCBs, or system‑level troubleshooting You're comfortable with ESD protocols and lab environments Your communication and documentation skills set you apart Bonus Points Background in server or data center hardware manufacturing Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or quality methodologies Familiarity with FA tools such as X‑ray imaging or JTAG boundary scan Why Compal?
