CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to join our Gas Team in Tampa, FL; Orlando, FL; or Atlanta, GA. In this pivotal role, you will oversee high-impact infrastructure programs that support the safe and reliable transport of energy resources. This is an opportunity to influence strategic asset investments, advance operational performance, and help clients navigate an evolving regulatory and energy landscape while delivering results that extend well beyond project completion. What You'll Do: * Manage all aspects of gas infrastructure project delivery, including scope, budget, schedule, and client relationships, while thoroughly understanding project risks and financial measures * Serve as a "seller/doer," developing work with specific clients and leading marketing plan development for target market areas * Lead and mentor other Project Managers, setting vision and strategy, and supporting professional growth across the team * Prepare proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations, and project closeout documents * Track and oversee multiple projects, ensuring quality control and compliance with company standards * Play a key role in client contract interpretation and relationship management, ensuring all client needs are met What You Bring: * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's degree preferred * Minimum of 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including 8 years of project management experience required * Professional Engineer (PE) license required * Expert knowledge of the respective engineering discipline with a proven ability to apply best practices * Advanced proficiency with engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) as well as Microsoft Office * Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Knowledge of MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferred * Proven ability to lead teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project accounting processes * Experience preparing proposals and project documentation as well as interpreting client contracts * Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred * Ability to travel as needed Why You'll Love It Here: * Play a key role in advancing natural gas infrastructure that powers communities and supports dependable energy delivery * Work alongside industry experts on high-impact projects that strengthen system performance, integrity, and operational excellence * Build expertise across a diverse portfolio of transmission and distribution initiatives shaping the future of energy infrastructure Curious about the impactful work our Gas Team is doing? Salary Range: $150,000 - $165,000 Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
