Production Manager

Implements defined overall production standards and oversees and manages all production operations within conjugate manufacturing. Responsibilities You will lead a team of Biochemists that manufacture bioconjugate components of immunoassay reagents You will support production scheduling, purchasing of externally sourced raw materials, and ensuring that production processes are completed expediently without sacrificing quality You will assist with problem solving and technical troubleshooting of conjugate manufacturing processes and associated equipment Qualifications You have very good interpersonal skills and are able to effectively lead a production team as well as interface with external suppliers, internal technical stakeholders, and others in the customer environment and you will show team orientation, communication skills, and customer orientation You will demonstrate expertise in protein biochemistry, especially bioconjugation techniques You will utilize your expertise in size exclusion chromatography, including mastery of FPLC operation and troubleshooting You will perform manufacturing resource planning, especially familiarity with SAP PP and MM modules. You will monitor key performance indicators for production timeliness and customer satisfaction and ensure Class A Manufacturing performance. You will have experience in Lean manufacturing and help promote Lean philosophy to improve productivity while also minimizing waste Required Skills Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Biochemistry, or equivalent experience required Minimum of 5-8 years reagent manufacturing experience; including experience in a GMP/GDP environment Demonstrated leadership experience, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor Compensation The base pay range for this position is: $99,930 - $137,401 Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
