About the Role
The Company is in search of a strategic Director/Deputy CISO to spearhead the development and execution of its information security strategy and operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with safeguarding digital assets, managing security risks, and promoting a culture of security awareness. This pivotal role demands a hands-on leader with a blend of technical expertise and strong leadership skills to drive the security program forward. Key responsibilities include strategic leadership and planning, change management, security integration, team development, stakeholder management, security operations management, and risk management. The Director/Deputy CISO will also be instrumental in reshaping the organization's approach to cybersecurity, ensuring a more resilient and security-conscious environment. To excel in this position, candidates must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. A deep understanding of security principles, best practices, and emerging trends is essential, as is experience with security frameworks and regulatory requirements. The role requires a proven track record in security operations and incident response, excellent leadership and communication skills, and relevant security certifications. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong decision-maker, and a change agent, capable of driving transformation and fostering a security-first mindset across the organization. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree being preferred.
