CT Technologist

Job Summary As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for the provision of computed tomographic radiographs to patients in accordance with physicians’ orders. You will support a collaborative team environment and provide high quality patient care. Responsibilities Prepare patients for CT exam, explain procedure and ensure technical quality. Promote individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education. Possess sufficient knowledge of medical terminology to work accurately within the Imaging Department. Work as a team player and meet the needs of the Imaging Department. Qualifications Associate Degree, Diploma or BSRT degree in Radiologic Technology is required. Current licensure by the Texas Department of Health as an MRT/TMB license is required. Current registration with ARRT® (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) is required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification is required.
