Job Duties Occasionally operate a stand up or sit down forklift. Follow all company safety and health rules to help keep everyone safe. Receive, store, and give out materials the right way, and keep records updated in the company computer system. Check materials for quality and make sure inventory counts are correct. Tell the Team Leader right away if there is a problem. Keep enough materials stocked in work areas, gather items from pull lists, and prepare materials for production. Keep the work area clean and organized, communicate well with coworkers and managers, and help other departments when needed. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED. Experience Requirements 1 year of shipping/receiving experience. Reliable with excellent attendance. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment. Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures. A Material Handler supports manufacturing and distribution by transporting materials, maintaining inventory organization, and helping products move efficiently throughout warehouse operations. This role combines physical work with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. The Material Handler works with inventory, warehouse equipment, and shipping processes while maintaining safe handling practices and efficient workflows.
