Responsibilities:

• Clean and inspect freight railcars to meet operational and safety standards
• Remove debris, residue, and contaminants from interior and exterior of rail cars
• Use hand tools, pressure washers, and cleaning equipment to perform thorough car cleaning
• Follow safety protocols and railroad regulations during all cleaning operations
• Document and report any damage, defects, or maintenance needs observed on freight cars
• Work alongside rail yard crew to ensure timely turnaround of cleaned cars
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Prior experience in rail, industrial cleaning, or a related labor-intensive field preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
• Team-oriented with strong communication and safety awareness skills
