About the Role As a Weekend Wound Care Nurse, you will: Provide high-quality wound care services to patients with chronic and acute wounds, including debridement, dressing changes, and educational services Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that promote wound healing and improve patient outcomes Conduct wound assessments and document patient progress in accordance with established policies and procedures Educate patients and their caregivers on wound care techniques and promote self-care management Participate in quality improvement initiatives to optimize patient outcomes and reduce hospital readmissions Responsibilities Provide weekend coverage for wound care services, including Saturdays and Sundays Develop and maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including wound assessments, treatments, and progress notes Participate in staff meetings and in-services to stay current with best practices in wound care and to promote team collaboration Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to established infection control protocols and policies #J-18808-Ljbffr
