Contract | 13 Weeks | Friday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM | Day Shift | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist in a Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center environment
• Utilize CT modality to produce diagnostic images while ensuring a safe and positive patient experience
• Conduct CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures, including trauma and emergency room scanning
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Support teaching initiatives and engage in continued learning as CT technology evolves

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or a limited permit to practice in the State of New York
• Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR, or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Minimum of 2 years of CT experience required
• Candidates must meet travel eligibility requirements; certain local counties may be ineligible — please inquire for details

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level I Trauma or Academic Medical Center setting
• Familiarity with CT scan-guided procedures and intensive care patient imaging
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and regulatory compliance
