Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to work from wherever you feel most productive—whether it’s your home office, a co-working space, or another location of your choice within California. Our supportive virtual environment enables seamless communication with our team while providing the flexibility you'll need to maintain a healthy work-life balance. Full-time hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, promoting a structured schedule conducive to effective client interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct secure video therapy sessions with an emphasis on establishing a supportive atmosphere for clients.
• Utilize assessment skills to identify mental health needs in adults and develop tailored strategies to address issues such as stress, anxiety, and grief.
• Empower clients by equipping them with decision-making tools and enhancing their emotional resilience through therapeutic techniques.
• Document client sessions accurately within our platform, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to best practices in mental health treatment.
• Participate in regular team meetings and training to stay updated on best practices and continue professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with low-acuity adult clients who are seeking assistance with various mental health challenges. Our client base includes individuals navigating transitional life phases, coping with stress from relationships, workplaces, or personal situations, and seeking tools for improved emotional well-being. Your expertise will enable you to guide them through their challenges effectively.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.
• An independent licensure such as LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW is essential to practice legally within California.
• Strong comfort and familiarity with technology, including telehealth platforms, are necessary for conducting virtual sessions effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating a commitment to client wellbeing and successful therapeutic outcomes.
• Prior experience in teletherapy or remote counseling settings is advantageous but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits
