TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Hospice RN in Pembroke, North Carolina, 28372!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum of one full year of recent adult home health or hospice experience required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: CPR and BLS required. Must-Have: Experience in hospice care is required; experience in both home health and hospice is acceptable. Proficiency in OASIS and HomeCare HomeBase EMR systems is required, with usage within the last six months. Reliable transportation, a current driver's license, and agency-required liability insurance are required. Description: This position involves providing hospice care to patients in their homes. The contractor will be responsible for driving to patients' homes daily. Average daily caseload will be between 5 to 8 patients. Weekly productivity expectations are set at 30 to 35 patients. Documentation must be completed within 24 hours of each appointment. The contractor should be comfortable with drives that may exceed 20 minutes between patients. There are no guaranteed hours; contractors must meet productivity expectations. Floating to nearby locations may be required if patient census is low. Candidates must be willing to travel up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. First-time travelers are not accepted; recent specialty experience is required. All appointments must be accepted regardless of distance from previous appointments. Delayed or incomplete documentation impacting billing will result in cancellation of the contract. No contract hours are guaranteed, and any overtime must be approved in advance. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
