Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Tyler, TX 75701

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Tyler, Texas

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend coverage required (6 shifts per 6-week period). Float based on schedule. 12-hour orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Medical-Surgical ICU setting with 16-bed unit and daily census of 14 patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 across all shifts
• Epic charting system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and phlebotomy
• Specialized equipment experience including CRRT (NXXT Stage)
• 91-day travel assignment in a dynamic critical care environment
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations with complex medical-surgical conditions

Requirements:

• Active RN license (state or compact license required at time of application)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; NIHSS and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Patient ratio experience with 2-3 patients preferred
• Charge nurse experience, community hospital, LTAC, and Level I/II trauma experience preferred
• Proficiency in arterial line management, ventilator management, titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips, blood product administration, central line care, and interpretation of ABGs and dysrhythmias
