Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/24/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel Emergency Department Triage RN - Night Shift Facility: Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Location: Burlington, Massachusetts Contract Length: 13 or 26 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Guaranteed Hours: 72 hours biweekly Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Holiday Requirement: 2 holiday shifts Float: None Charting: Epic Trauma Level: Level I Position Overview Seeking a highly experienced Emergency Department RN for a dedicated triage role in a 44-bed Level I Trauma Center. This position requires current high-volume ED triage experience, strong rapid-assessment skills, and the ability to independently prioritize complex and unstable patients. Non-Negotiable Experience Requirements Minimum 6 years of RN experience Current or very recent Emergency Department triage experience Formal triage training required Level I trauma experience required Epic experience required Candidates who do not have at least 6 years of experience and recent triage experience will not be considered. Required Credentials Active Massachusetts RN license AHA BLS AHA ACLS TNCC PALS or ENPC Emergency Department Highlights 44 beds More than 45,000 square feet Private treatment rooms Fast-track area Behavioral health suite Dedicated imaging suite Pharmacy support Family waiting and consultation areas Fully electronic assessment, documentation, and medication administration through Epic Scheduling Requirements 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend 2 holiday shifts during the contract Excessive requested time off will not be considered, particularly around holidays All RTO should be disclosed at submission Local Candidate Policy Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate.
