Senior Finance Associate

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per weekMake sure to apply with all the requested information, as laid out in the job overview below.A private equity firm is seeking a Finance Associate or Senior Finance Associate to join its fund finance team in Chicago.What You'll DoSupport quarterly close and fund financial reportingPrepare waterfall, allocation, capital call and distribution calculationsMaintain journal entries and general ledgers for fund and GP entitiesSupport subscription line and credit facility administrationCoordinate tax allocations, K-1 review and tax return processesLiaise with external auditors during the annual auditRespond to investor requests and support regulatory reportingAssist with special projects across the finance functionWhat We're Looking For3–6 years of public and/or private accounting experiencePrivate equity or alternative investment fund experience preferredStrong understanding of partnership accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceCPA strongly preferredStrong attention to detail, organization and ability to manage multiple deadlinesProactive, self-directed working style with strong xhyhwjd communication skillsWhy Consider It?Broad exposure across the full fund finance functionHands-on involvement with fund accounting, tax, audit and investor reportingOpportunity to work closely with senior finance professionalsStrong visibility across the investment platformCollaborative environment with meaningful responsibility
