The individual will be responsible for all aspects of bookkeeping for their assigned accounts. This includes, but is not limited to:Check entryCheck codingBank reconciliationFinancial reporting/statementsSales taxOther taxes1099 detailing and preparationAccount reviewDepreciationJournal entriesYear end reviewATF/payroll taxesQuickBooksAdditionally, this position will be responsible for developing a positive working relationship with the business owner as the point of contact.Desired Skills/Experience/AttributesMust be experienced in QuickBooks, Excel and other Microsoft programs including Outlook & Word. After-the-fact accounting experience is preferred. Ability to learn new software quickly and thoroughly. Must have excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail & ability to self-review. Must have the ability to communicate with clients and coworkers via email and phone in a professional manner.
