Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatric Outpatient

Schedule

This position offers a flexible schedule with options for 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts, ensuring work-life balance. Typical shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 07:30 to 18:00, and Friday from 07:30 to 17:00.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide exceptional care in a pediatric outpatient setting. You will work with a diverse patient population, including infants, children, and adolescents, addressing various speech and language disorders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments, evaluations, and treatment plans for pediatric clients.
• Develop and implement strategies to assist patients with communication disorders including autism, developmental delays, and language disorders.
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Wellsky/Epic systems.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy goals and progress.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and interpretation services, to enhance patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in pediatric speech-language pathology.
• Current BLS and CCC-SLP certifications are required.
• Experience with alternative communication devices and working with children with special needs is preferred.
• Valid state license required.
