School Nurse Contract Opportunity

Step into a highly rewarding role supporting students in the Las Vegas area by providing essential one-on-one care within a dynamic school environment. This full-time, on-site contract opportunity spans from August 10, 2026, through October 12, 2026, with mandatory training on the afternoon of August 4 and the morning of August 7. Work alongside students, families, and educational teams while making a meaningful impact.

Leverage your nursing skills and attention to detail supporting a student with a tracheostomy; experience with gastrostomy tube feeds is a plus. Your work will primarily cover the area from Flamingo and Boulder Highway up to Henderson. Flexibility is key, as your specific school assignment(s) will be determined closer to your start date.

Desired Qualifications

• Current, active LPN license
• Valid and up-to-date CPR/BLS certification
• Experience supporting medically complex pediatric patients (trach care highly preferred; GT feeds helpful)
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Compassion, patience, and excellent communication skills

Primary Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, one-on-one medical care to a student on campus
• Perform daily trach care procedures and monitor for emergencies
• Provide support with gastrostomy tube feeds as needed
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure safe, responsive care
• Adhere to all school district safety and documentation guidelines
