Seasonal Bartender/Server

The hotel features a rooftop restaurant and terrace, yet what truly sets it apart is its dedicated team members. Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated, customer‑focused Bartender to join our team. The bartender delivers memorable hospitality to guests with genuine, personable connections and engaging service from greeting to departure. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area. Maintain proper and adequate set‑up of the bar daily. Guide guests through beverage selections with descriptive selling of the menu. Accurately take orders, confirming all special requests. Serve as the master of the bar, using knowledge to enhance conversation. Collaborate with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff. Assist guests with concerns, guiding them to a satisfactory resolution. Finalize experience with timely and accurate bill presentation. Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits. Maintain stock, cut, and store garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily. Mix, garnish, and present drinks following standard recipes and portion control. Input orders into the point‑of‑sale register and create checks. Lock up and secure all beverages, food, equipment, deposits cash drops, and secure bank. Qualifications Engaging and welcoming personality. Current bartender certification or appropriate license. Knowledge of current mixology trends. Descriptive and persuasive selling skills. 2‑4 years bartender experience. Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment. Passion for creating an exceptional guest experience. Excellent communication skills. Compensation $8.00 – $10.00 per hour. Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location.
