Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify client mental health needs, formulate diagnosis, and develop individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to client needs.

• Engage in collaborative goal-setting with clients to track their progress and adapt treatment as necessary.
\n
• Document all client interactions and maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant records within our practice management software, SimplePractice.
\n
• Coordinate care and provide referrals by collaborating with various healthcare professionals and community resources when needed.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development through continuous education to stay updated on the latest therapeutic techniques and advancements.
\n
• Maintain a minimum caseload of 10 client sessions per week, with the opportunity to grow to 25 sessions as your schedule permits.
\n
• Contribute to the practice’s visibility and outreach efforts by engaging in marketing initiatives such as enhancing our Psychology Today profile.

• Attend weekly case review meetings to uphold quality of care and provide support and feedback to your peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Legacy Counseling, we provide a spectrum of services addressing mental health issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, and ADHD. Our diverse client base consists of individuals from varying cultural backgrounds who seek a compassionate, understanding approach to therapy. Qualifications\n

• A valid Master’s degree in Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and unrestricted Pennsylvania state license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• A minimum of 3 years of professional counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting where you directly engage with clients seeking mental health services.

• Demonstrated clinical assessment abilities and strong diagnostic skills, particularly in the context of varied therapeutic settings.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport and trust with clients.

Legacy Counseling offers a competitive salary within the range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
