LBN Property Management is a growing real estate investment and property management company focused on providing high-quality, affordable housing throughout Metro Detroit. We renovate homes to a high standard with an emphasis on durability, quality, and long-term maintenance.

We are looking for an experienced Rehab & Maintenance Supervisor to oversee property renovations, unit turnovers, contractor management, inspections, and preventative maintenance across our portfolio.

Position Summary

The Rehab & Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring every property is renovated, maintained, and ready for occupancy to LBN’s standards. This role requires someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in managing residential rehabs from start to finish.

The ideal candidate is bilingual (English/Spanish), has extensive field experience, and can confidently supervise contractors, inspect work, create scopes of work, and ensure compliance with Section 8 and local housing standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage all property rehabs and unit turnovers from start to finish.
• Conduct move-out inspections and create detailed Scopes of Work.
• Supervise general contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to company standards.
• Perform quality-control inspections throughout each rehab.
• Coordinate and oversee repairs required for Section 8 and city inspections.
• Perform pre-inspections to ensure homes are ready before official inspections.
• Inspect HVAC systems, furnaces, water heaters, plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, windows, foundations, and other major building components.
• Coordinate sewer camera inspections when needed.
• Develop repair solutions that prioritize durability and low maintenance.
• Source quality materials while controlling costs.
• Maintain project schedules, documentation, and progress updates.
• Build strong relationships with contractors and vendors.
• Assist with preventative maintenance planning across the portfolio.
• Identify recurring property issues and recommend long-term solutions.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of residential rehab or property maintenance management experience.
• Experience supervising contractors and multiple renovation projects simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction and building systems.
• Experience creating detailed Scopes of Work.
• Ability to identify poor workmanship and ensure quality standards.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Preferred

• Experience with Section 8, HQS, or NSPIRE inspections.
• Experience with Detroit rental properties.
• Experience using Monday.com, DoorLoop, or similar software.
• Experience coordinating sewer scope inspections.
• OSHA or other construction-related certifications.
