About the Position Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their purchases, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. Operate a cash register, process payments accurately, and issue appropriate change. Manage customer transactions efficiently and ensure a smooth checkout process. Assist in stocking, organizing, and maintaining inventory in the lumberyard and store. Load and unload materials in a safe and efficient manner. Keep the store clean, neat, and presentable at all times. Assist with pricing and labeling merchandise. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment. Provide support to other team members as needed. Ability to Drive a Forklift or be trained and certified to do so. About You Prior experience in a customer service or retail environment is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register. Basic knowledge or interest in home improvement products. Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as necessary. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Dependable and trustworthy. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed. High school diploma or equivalent.
