Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) - Nuclear Medicine

The Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) - Nuclear Medicine practices as a licensed independent practitioner providing advanced, evidence-based specialty care to Veterans across the continuum of care.

Independently manages a panel of patients with acute and chronic conditions, with a strong emphasis on diagnostic evaluation, disease management, care coordination, and patient education.

Requires advanced clinical judgment, prescriptive authority, and leadership within a multidisciplinary care environment, including close collaboration with oncology, radiology, pharmacy, nursing, and ancillary services.

Actively contributes to quality improvement, population health outcomes, and aligns care delivery with VA missions and ICARE core values.

Work Schedule: M-F 0730-1600

Telework: Ad-Hoc

Permanent Change of Station (PCS): Not Authorized Bargaining Unit: This position is part of Bargaining unit. VA offers a comprehensive total rewards package: VA Nurse Total Rewards

Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards

Paid Time Off: 50 days of paid time off per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year)

Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VA

Insurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)

Licensure: 1 full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
