At Apple Ford Shakopee, were looking for a motivated, customer-focused Aftermarket Accessories Sales Consultant to help customers personalize and protect their vehicles while driving accessory sales, increasing profitability, and building long-term customer loyalty.

What Youll Do

1. Drive Accessory Sales: Identify opportunities to sell aftermarket accessories, vehicle upgrades, and related products that enhance the ownership experience.
2. Build Customer Relationships: Understand customer needs, recommend the right products, and deliver a professional, personalized buying experience.
3. Maximize Every Opportunity: Partner with the sales, service, and parts departments to identify accessory sales opportunities throughout the customer journey.
4. Achieve Sales Goals: Develop and execute sales strategies that increase revenue, gross profit, and customer retention.
5. Present and Sell Solutions: Prepare accessory packages, pricing guides, and product recommendations that make it easy for customers to understand their options.
6. Deliver Exceptional Service: Follow up with customers, address concerns promptly, and ensure a smooth experience from product selection through installation.
7. Collaborate Across Departments: Maintain strong working relationships with dealership leadership, sales consultants, service advisors, technicians, and parts personnel.
8. Maintain Product Knowledge: Stay informed on available accessories, new products, installation requirements, and industry trends.
9. Protect Profitability: Maintain accurate pricing, documentation, financial transactions, and departmental reporting while identifying opportunities to improve results.
10. Support Quality and Accountability: Help ensure accessories are installed correctly, customer commitments are met, and work is completed to established quality standards.

What Youll Bring

1. A passion for sales, customer service, and the automotive industry.
2. Two or more years of sales experience preferred, ideally in automotive, aftermarket accessories, or a related industry or service advisor experience.
3. A track record of achieving sales goals and delivering results.
4. Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
5. The ability to identify customer needs and confidently recommend solutions.
6. A self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
7. Excellent organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
8. The ability to work collaboratively across multiple dealership departments.
9. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and customer relationship management systems.
10. Automotive accessory knowledge is a plus, but a willingness to learn and grow is essential.
