Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in labor, preterm labor, triage, pre-op, and post-op settings across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform and assist with circulating, scrubbing, and OB-GYN surgical procedures including GYN surgeries and couplet care
• Administer blood and blood products, manage epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and wound vac equipment
• Administer high-alert medications including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate; perform cardioversion/defibrillation and cooling/warming blanket procedures
• Attend all deliveries including high-risk deliveries; support low-risk antepartum and transition nursery care
• Float to Post-Partum or NICU based on skill set as needed; maintain staffing ratios of 1:1–3

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must not be a first-time traveler
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with NICU or Post-Partum care a plus
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetric procedures and high-alert medication administration
