Job Description
Surgical Technologist - Surgical Services

Schedule

10-hour day shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with up to 2 weekends per month required for either call or working shifts. Short call shifts may occur once a week. A 30-minute on-call response time is necessary.

Assignment Details

Contract length: 13 weeks with guaranteed hours of 72 hours biweekly, not including on-call time.

Requirements

• Massachusetts license required.
• Experience in scrub and/or circulating for general surgery, robotics, transplants, orthopedics, neurosurgery, spine, ENT, GYN, urology, organ procurement, and trauma is preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in surgical procedures by preparing and maintaining the sterile field.
• Handling instruments and supplies during operations.
• Participating in preoperative and postoperative care of patients.
• Collaborating with surgical teams and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Compliance / Notes

Orientation is weekly, and all RTO requests must be presented at the time of submission. Travelers must be separated from past employment with the hiring facility for six months to be considered. Parking details will be provided upon request.
