About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Tech Profession: Surgical Technologist Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years of CST experience required License: Michigan license verification required for nurses Certifications: BLS (AHA) Must-Have: Experience in ortho, neuro, general, Robot Xi, urology, GYN, and endovascular/vascular procedures required. ENT experience preferred. Description: Client has incorporated a strict attendance policy to advocate for their patient population. Any contractor who is absent from a scheduled shift or is more than 20 minutes late for their scheduled shift three times will be terminated effective immediately. Situations such as a communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence will be reviewed favorably. The surgical services represent a full spectrum of procedures and tests across various specialties. General elective surgeries as well as critical or life-saving procedures are a focus. The organization was the first to provide many surgical techniques and tools and continues to enhance care and outcomes for all surgical patients. A skills checklist completed within one year of application is required. Physical copies of certifications are only required if listed above. Full-time employees are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment. Must be available for one night of call per week and one weekend shift per month from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
