Manager, Tax Service Line Responsibilities Provide top‑level review of federal and multi‑state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts; review related income tax workpapers. Lead teams of seniors and staff accountants. Oversee planning and scheduling of engagements. Ensure quality of work product and monitor workflow. Coach and mentor individual team members; provide formal and informal feedback. Communicate progress to partners. Develop business with existing and new clients. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Advise clients on income tax issues and related tax planning. Participate in professional development opportunities and training programs. Manage firm administrative functions such as client billings. Qualifications CPA certification. Minimum of five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in partnership, LLC, and other flow‑through entity taxation and high‑net‑worth individuals. Strong organizational and management skills. Excellent written, oral, and documentation communication skills. Ability to identify and resolve complex income tax issues. Advanced project management skills. Proficiency in firm technology and Microsoft Office; knowledge of GoSystem a plus. Strong team player focused on member growth and development.
