Description:
The unit has 8 surgical suites and manages 16-18 cases per day.
Clinicians must have reliable transportation as public transportation options are not available in the area.
The role requires handling both adult and pediatric patients.
Candidates should be able to handle instruments on weekends and perform tasks such as decontamination, picking, and wrapping instrument packs.
Experience with minimally invasive surgery is preferred.
No robotics procedures are performed.
The surgical cases include a large bariatric program, general surgeries, orthopedics, and total joints.
Candidates will work with Stryker endo systems and DuPuy hips.
Daily schedules consist of 10-hour day shifts, with the possibility of being on call.
Endoscopic procedures will be performed by general surgeons.
ERCPs are also part of the surgical responsibilities.
Technologists do not need to be CST certified if they have relevant experience.
