Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Las Cruces, New Mexico. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Lactation Nurse in Labor and Delivery Department located in the southern region. This full-spectrum maternal care role involves supporting women through labor, delivery, and postpartum processes. The position offers a night shift schedule and requires compassionate, patient-centered care within a busy obstetric unit. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Electronic Fetal Monitoring. No minimum years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in Labor and Delivery or maternal care setting preferred. Additional Information: Candidates must be located at least 60 miles from the facility to be considered. All clinical staff in New Mexico must undergo fingerprinting background checks and provide documentation of processing. If applicable, travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting for results but must be supervised.
