Job Description
We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team and provide daily support to individuals with developmental disabilities. The successful candidate will have a passion for serving others and a commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Ensure that all residents receive appropriate care and support, including medical and behavioral needs.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and other stakeholders.
- Respond to emergencies and provide crisis intervention as needed.
- Follow all policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a State of Oregon conducted background check.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Have a clean driving record.
