Senior Accountant

Job Description

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and general ledger reconciliations. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Monitor project costs, budgets, and job profitability, providing analysis and recommendations to management. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash flow activities. Reconcile bank accounts and investigate financial discrepancies. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives. Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting requirements. Maintain accurate records of construction contracts, change orders, and project-related expenses. Develop and improve accounting processes to increase efficiency and financial accuracy. Provide financial insights and reporting to leadership to support strategic business decisions.

They are highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
