Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our dedicated team of imaging experts. Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a diverse range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and specialty imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, communicating each step with warmth and clarity
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the highest quality diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, addressing any issues promptly
• Document procedures accurately and maintain diligent patient records in our electronic medical system
• Engage in continuous education to stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound technologies and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Skills Needed

• Proficient in various sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
• Exceptional communication abilities and strong interpersonal skills
